CIRCLE
A perfect closed curve where every point on the curve is equidistant from the center
ELLIPSE
A stretched circle , often seen in the shapes of orbits .
PARABOLA AND HYPERBOLA
Curve studied in advantage geometry and physics
Real -Life example of curve
● Nature ; The shape of rainbows, rivers,or petals of flowers.
● Arts and Design ; curves are used to create patterns , sculptures, and decorations.
● Daily life ; curve are present in roads , bridges and even in handwriting .

POLYGON
A polygon in a 2D shape formed by straight line segments that are joined to create a
closed figure .
Eg : triangle , square , rectangle , pentagon etc
PROPERTIES OF POLYGON
Polygon have sides (straight lines),vertical (corners),and angle (interior and exterior )
The sum of the interior angles depends on the number of sides , calculate as ;
Sum of interior angles =(n-2)x180^o
Where n is the number of sides
Regular polygon :
All sides and angle are equal (eg, Equilateral triangle )
Irregular polygon :
Sides and angle are not equal (eg; scalene triangle)
How does each one of them defer from the other ?

LETS US CONSIDER ABOVE PICTURE TO DIFFERENTIATE
This diagram consists entirely of line segments . Out of these some of them are
also called closed curves . They are called polygons.
