Activity Time: Let’s See It!
A person is taking two books or sheets of paper and elevating them until they
touch at one edge .
If they examine it carefully , they will notice a line where they connect .
The intricacies of geometry are indeed fascinating ! just as Mai and Aryan’s
trajectories intersect a point , two planes in three – dimensional space meet to
generate a line .

Lines that are classified as parallel do not converge at any point no matter
how extensively they are extended .
They consistently maintain an equal separation from each other.
Let us go with an example here,
Imagine the side rails of two ladders;
They maintain a distance from one another and do not intersect .
Non -parallel lines:
Picture a pair of scissors .
The blades overlap when they are closed
“Geometry is all around us – persist in discovering it in your surroundings“

A ray can be described as a line that originates from a single point and
continues infinitely in one direction .
A common example of ray can be observed in the ray emitted by the sun .
The light begins at the sun , a designated point of origin , travels indefinitely in
a single direction , paralleling the geometric representation of a ray .
EXAMPLE :
5) Draw a ray with endpoints A and B .
